MOTRIX

An automotive knowledge platform, with a workshop system built in.

MOTRIX is an automotive knowledge platform and workshop system in development at VERYNX, built on one rule: no verified source, no technical answer. Its public app runs on fictional example data today; its workshop system, from check-in to handover, is complete in V1 by the project's own report and runs for invited workshops.

Why it exists

A workshop runs on information: what a vehicle needs, what was done to it, and what comes next. A wrong torque value or an outdated inspection rule costs more than no answer at all, so MOTRIX starts with the information, not the screens.

The problem

Technical vehicle data is scattered, contradictory and often unclear about where it came from or whether it may be used. A workshop system can only be trusted if every fact it shows can be traced.

What was built

  • Evidence before answers: Every value carries its source, the source's authority class and its revision. When sources disagree, MOTRIX shows both values and picks neither.
  • Applicability: Each value says what it applies to, such as engine and gearbox codes, production dates and markets. Values that don't apply to the identified vehicle are folded away; values it can't decide are marked to be checked.
  • One exact vehicle: A vehicle is identified by plate, VIN or manual selection in six steps. Where the configuration is still open, MOTRIX asks instead of guessing.
  • The workshop chain: Customers and vehicles, check-in and intake, appointments and the planner, inspections, work orders, the mechanic's console, estimates, secure customer approval, parts, invoicing, documents, quality control and handover, communications, reminders, an owner console and automation rules.
  • Tested end to end: The whole workshop journey runs as one test of 20 steps, in English and in Dutch, next to 4,979 unit tests. These are the project's own results, as reported on 5 November 2026; VERYNX has not run them.

Still in development

  • No technical information in MOTRIX is verified yet: real documents, verified sources and real vehicle coverage are in development, and the technical knowledge database is not fully populated.
  • Licensing for third-party technical data is not fully resolved, so licensed technical content is not shown publicly.
  • Recent work (security test corrections, approval-link fixes, storage recovery, rights controls for technical sources, public vehicle and recall data) is queued for release, not confirmed deployed.
  • The workshop modules are invite-only; there is no public sign-up.
