SCR Guard
Discord security that shows its work.
SCR Guard is a Discord security bot with a web dashboard: anti-nuke, anti-raid, automod and moderation, plus snapshots to recover a server's structure. It began in September 2026 from an existing third-party bot, rebranded and hardened by VERYNX, and is at version 2.2.8 on its stable channel.
SCR Guard is based on an existing third-party Discord bot. This page describes the product as it stands at version 2.2.8; not every capability below is original VERYNX work.
Why it exists
Most communities never switch security features on, because they can't predict what those features will do to their own members. Guard is built to answer that before it acts.
The problem
A compromised administrator can delete every channel and role in a minute; raids and spam arrive in floods. Recovery is hard, and bot logs rarely explain what happened.
What was built
- Anti-nuke: Watches the audit log for mass destruction by a trusted account, removes that account's power, locks the server and takes a snapshot so the damage can be undone.
- Anti-raid: Notices coordinated join floods and alerts moderators, with documented limits on what it can and cannot do.
- Automod: Invite links, blocked words, mass mentions, repeated messages and shouting.
- Shadow Mode: Evaluates every rule and records what it would have done, without doing any of it, so you can see who would be affected before switching it on.
- Explainable Security Score: A 0 to 100 score where every point taken off is a finding with what was observed, why it matters, what to do and the evidence used.
- Incidents and recovery: Sequence-numbered incident timelines, snapshots of roles, channels and permissions with a reviewed restore, and a numbered, reversible configuration history.
- SCR Rescue and dashboard: A diagnostic that separates what Guard can repair from what only you can, and a web dashboard for all of it.
- Safe releases: Stable and beta channels with signed manifests and a deterministic staged rollout. One release, 2.2.2, was withdrawn because its handoff package failed its own verification.
